TDOR at Georgia State University

#everyvoicematters

I was invited to GSU to speak at a small event for TDOR.  The students led a passionate reading in the lives that have been lost in 2015.  Ashley Diamond came as my guest and we both shared our messages of love and encouragement. Ashley also sang a moving tribute to the beautiful young people who had the courage to stand up in the center of a very crowded campus courtyard.  The student who participated … they all looked  a little nervous, but very determined to stand fast sending every name over the busy crowd surrounding us.  Most people paid no attention, but there were many who stopped to listen.  Every voice matters.
