A word on Sharing

Many of the posts I share are sad, and painful. I don’t like putting that kind of negativity into the world without balancing it out just a little. A positive word for today;

To whom much is given, much is required. These words mean a lot but it’s the way we take the information in and process it that makes the difference. When we receive a gift, whether it is spiritual or physical, we should always be willing and ready to share with other. When I first met my girlfriend, I noticed that she was always giving something to someone, with no expectation of anything in return. It used to bother me that she would give so much and when I asked her why, she would just say, “I give what I can and take only what I need. That person’s need is greater than mine. The Universe will give back to me in my time of need.” When she came to a point of struggle in her life, all those she had helped, came to her aid, without question.
That kind of thing NEVER happens in a place like this, but I still try to live by those principles. I am not saying to give everything you have to another person but any time you can help others…just do it. Share your time, share a hug, and share some warmth, or food, or friendship. Today I have shared the wisdom and some of my personal experiences with others who I have seen struggling in an area that I once struggled in myself. Give life to another by the power of your words and actions.
