Let go of Lables

We had a video visit yesterday. It was mostly awesome. We had a few theater ladies here, and he got to meet (and flirt with) the ladies. I’ll be posting more on that later. For now:

Word for the day.  Be yourself and never change who you are to please another person. Always be true to yourself. If they can’t love and accept you for who you are then you don’t change to be what they want you to be. That will only encourage them to remain close minded and too blind to see people as they really are. The people who truly love you, love who you truly are. Be the best “YOU” that you can. All that matters is that you do your best. Be your true self, be happy and live your life. Cherish every moment and don’t leave any room for you to regret.
One more thing; let go of the labels. male, female, trans, gay straight, black, white, old, young, criminal, conservative, liberal… It’s so easy to become consumed in titles or labels in the fight for our rights. They do not define who you are nor will they ever define who you are unless you allow them too. Be HUMAN, after all, it is human rights that we are fighting for.
